Thank you for sharing your date with me! Good luck. It'll be here soon! I noticed you are concerned about the complications. If you're concerned about a family history of heart disease, please stress this with your doctor. I would hope his pre-op tests would address these concerns along with any other concerns he may have. Sounds like you have a great husband and beautiful family to get healthy for!

Hi, My name is Kathy and I live in Clarksville, Tn. We have the same surgery date, I too am have a lap RNY. My surgery will be done in Nashville, Tn., mu surgeon is Douglas Olsen. I am 50 years old with one grown son. My husband is very supportive, but at the same time is afraid for me too. I hope all goes smooth for you and you have a great recovery.
