Sharon--I'm so happy to hear that your surgery went well. Sorry about the post-epid. pain. You have my kudos for just having the guts to try that! No way was anyone sticking a big needle in this back! I went with the pump. Even though I knew it would only give me so much, I just felt like I was helping myself by pushing, pushing and pushing that little button. Are you home now? I'm assuming so, since you have posted here, but maybe you have a laptop? Hehe. Anyway...I hope everything continues to go well for you, and I look forward to seeing you at the next support group meeting. If any questions arise, feel free to contact me. Take care. Tracy

Hi Sharon here! I'm doing well right now. Monday was a difficult day for me. The epidural was taken out and I had trouble regulating the pain. It was pretty strong. I'm much better this morning now that all the pain medicines are in. I'm sorry I don't have much to energy to post this time. I'll keep you all informed. Thanks for all you prayers.

Sharon had her surgery on Friday and is doing very well. She is tolerating the Carnation Instant Breakfast and is up and walking. She has the epidoral and has no pain or very little pain. She hasn't been given her discharge date yet but she is hoping it will be tomorrow (Monday) Hope the next update will be from Sharon herself.

Hi Sharon: I just wanted to let you know that I will be thinking of you over the next week. After the hospital stay is over, and you start feeling better it will worth it. Accept help from your mother, I am so grateful to my mother for all the help she gave me during my surgery and aftercare. I know this will be the best thing you have done for yourself in a very long time. You are in good hands at Hershey. The doctors and nurses are just great. Take Care. Pam
