Hi Tana! I just wrote you an email, but I want to wish you all the luck with your surgery, and hey don't worry about your friend, when my mom had the surgery, I didn't want her to, but then I saw how happy she was and the light was back in her eyes, I knew that it was my decision and mine alone, your doing something for yourself, and you'll be so much happier. so stay positive! she'll turn around.
