I have been going through the lists at obesityhelp.com and am advising Everett & other local residents of the next two WLS Support Group meetings. First of all, I'd like to mention that our meetings are very informal (at least, for now) and come-as-you-are, wherever you are in your journey. The meetings are scheduled for Mondays, 11/10/03 and 12/8/03 at 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Everett Public Library - Evergreen Branch. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to e-mail me at deanaferrari@yahoo.com. I hope to see you there! Your AMOS sister, Deana Ferrari

This is Jacque! I've not had a great deal of time to check out the website until now at post op. What a hoot. Thanks everyone for your well wishes. I'm doing great as far as I know. Surgery was at about 1:00 on Friday and I was on my way home Sunday at 1:00. I would love to be in a room of post op folks to compare notes. My belly is sore, I've had a cough and have not enjoyed that part. I can't really distinquish how I feel, my mid-section is all mixed up... is that hunger down there?!? I seem to be swallowing lots of air and don't like that but have not figured out how not to (everyone swallows spit right). I know I need to eat now or won't come near meeting my daily protein today. I'm going to Trader Joes later today with my husband to check out their store for fun stuff. I'd love to hear from other post-ops or pre-ops. Happy day. Jacque
