Hi everyone, I am home finally. I wanted to come home on Wed. but had a few complications, nothing to serious I was just really thirsty. I got drink juice on thurs. and pureed foods today before I could go home I had to keep them down. Let me tell you all other than horrible gas pain(needing to burp) I feel awesome. I walked the entire loop of the 9th floor of the hospital. which was no little task. this was about 2:30 in the morning. The upper GI was not fun for me I threw it all up but they were able to get most of the pics. I had to go back downstairs 4 times for more xrays. I was a slow mover. Then they gave me some milk of magnesia. That stuff worked really quick by wed I was a moving. but still thirsty. I have already lost almost 20lbs. according to the scale there. I will find out if its accurate in a few weeks. I feel alittle tired but thats really just from the happy pills. Thank you to everyone who posted to my surgery page I will get back to you individually but it will take some time. but I do have a few weeks before starting work again. Good luck to everyone else having surgery next week. and those waiting on ins. approval. Big Big (((Hugs)))

I talked to Teresa this morning and she should be coming home today. She is very good spirits despite a little bit of an extended hospital stay. She is handling the pureed diet and is ready to start jogging. Hang in there Teresa LOVE YA- Erica
