Paula,
Every good thought and all my prayers are with you tonight and tomorrow as you head into what I can only say is a Great Adventure. I have asked God to be with your hubby and give him Peace as you are in good hands with Dr. Schauer. I pray you are too relieved to have this day finally arrive to be nervous and that you realize that this is a gift you are being given for a wonderfully full and exciting life without the burden of the excess weight we have grown accustomed to. May your sleep be sweet and your dreams be of the wonderful future that lies right around the corner.
Hello folks! It's 9:57 PM Thursday nite & Paula is getting her bag finalized. The antibiotics that she took hit her pretty hard. We took the kids to the park so she could spend some time with them & myself. She took the second dose in the car before we left the park & her stomache started doing flip flops. So I dropped her off before I took the kids to their aunts for the night. That was at 3:00. She promptly went to sleep until about 7:30-8:00. She is now taking the final pills before surgery. We have to be at the hospital by 5:00 AM so sleep will be in short supply tonight. I'm fairly nervous, not that anything bad will happen, but just the kind of nerves that people get when their BETTER half is going to have surgery. I know in my heart of hearts that everything is going to come out fine. Enough morose comments. Please keep Paula in your thoughts & prayers tomorrow!! We both greatly appreciate it. I will try to post tomorrow after I get home & let you all know how well she did. Good night to all & God Bless!! Jim
Tomorrow you'll wake up to the beginning of a thinner, healthier, more comfortable you. Congratulations! Here's wishing you a smooth surgery and an uneventful recovery. Hugs, love, and peace. Melody

Hey Girlfriend!!!
I am so excited for you and I know that all will be well....you have been an angel to me and a wonderful friend. I can't wait til we are back at support meetings sharing our stories with the pre-ops and comparing our losses with everyone!! I will be praying for you on your day....just like you prayed for me!! Love ya!!!
Paula, Good luck with your up-coming surgery. I hope the sleep test goes well and that they don't reschedule your surgery. Your DH's nervousness is understandable as he doesn't want anything to happen to you. Just reassure him and he'll eventually be ok. I'll keep you in my prayers for a safe surgery and speedy recovery. Congratulations! KS
