Hi Everyone ! I hope everybody is doing well..I just wanted to share my Joy , I am 9 months and 12 days out of surgery I am down 272 #'s THATS RIGHT , YOU heard it correct !! from 561 to 289 ! WOW ~ who would believe that ??? 10 months ago I would have said No way !! I am loving everything about this weight loss , I like being able to see my neck , the bones in my shoulders and hips , I love being able to lay on the couch without feeling like I am going to fall off , I have been to the movies 2 times this month (I cant believe I am comfertable doing that ) , I love walking into a Restraunt or office and being able to sit in any chair (OH WHAT A FEELING), I love doing things with my family we walk down the beach for 2 miles carrying ice chests and all the belongings to have a bon-fire and then walk 2 miles back , if you are or were like me I wouldn't have walked 2 steps on that beach a year ago..I just bought a new Jeep and there is no way I would have fit in that , and get my seat belt on , every car I have been in I am able to wear a seatbelt !! I love the confedence I have , I mean I was always confident before but not like this , Everytime I walk in a store I don't feel all eyes on me , I don't care if people are looking in my grocery basket, I take my kids to baseball,I am not afraid of kids pointing and saying God she has got a big butt , or look how fat that lady is !! I just wanted to share my greatfulness for this surgery , for my life , and for everyone of you on the board , I read almost daily! I think I am ready to be here for somebody else , I am not sure what a angel does (because I didn't have one ) but I would be willing to give it a try , or if I can help anybody in anyway just drop me a e-mail!! I finally want to wish everyone good luck no matter where your at in this Journey ~ HAPPY LOSING TOO ALL ~born again 7-31-02 open Rny 561 to 289
