Hi Shari, I just saw your post question about will Kaiser cover plastic? Please, let me know what you find out, as I am Kaiser too, and need it too. From what I understand, they will only cover boobs if it's a reduction (my friend just had hers done last week), but it take a while. They usually don't cover the rest. Congrats on your weight loss. Des's date of surgery 3/13/2002 Pre-op weight =316#'s, current weight on 5/7/2003 = 173#'s , -143#'s

Shari I saw your post today and I am so glad you have made it to the losing side congrats!!!!! I am having surgery with Pacific Bariatric on 9/18 and boy my stomach is is knots. Can you even remember that feeling???? It was nice to read your profile and I am glad you are feeling better. If you have any words of wisdom to share I would love to hear them. Well I am back.....FINALLY!!! Boy did I have a tough time....I ended up getting re-admitted into the hospital 3 days after I was released..I had Phenmonia....boy was I a sick puppie...but feeling much better now...I want to first of all thank all of you for the kind words, your prayers and all of your support!! I couldnt have done it with out all of you...as of today which is 23 days after surgery I have lost 40 lbs...I know that is alot..but remember I was very ill so that was part of it...even though I had a tough time...I would do it over in a heart beat...the staff at Pacific Bariatrics in San Diego is awsome!!! and the hospital staff was as well..I would highly recomend it...if anyone has any questions please feel free to e-mail me..at Shearbear19662002@yahoo.com

Dear Shari, Congratulations...We share the same date. I had a laparascopic RNY done at 2:10 on August 13, at Immanuel in Omaha. I am praying for you and that you will have a speedy recovery. God bless you throughout the days to come.
