Best wishes to you. My husband and I both had our open rny's at PB. Our dr was Dr. Rumsey and we both adore him. I have heard wonderful comments about your dr too. We had great care at PB and also at the hospital. I loved reading your profile, especially your bus trip here in San Diego. That part of our city is very interesting!!!! It is where most of our "alternate livestyle" citizens dwell. It is the most fun part of town. It is also one of the most beautiful parts of the city and the best place to shop and eat (if you can eat!!) By the way, my husband and I have both lost a combined total of 295 lbs so far!!! We are also both diabetic. I was giving myself 5 shots a day, taking 3 glucophage and 2 tolazmide a day. My husband was not as bad as me, but he was taking 3 different pills a day. Guess what? Now we both take NOTHING!!!!!!!! NO SHOTS, NO PILLS!!! Yes we are still diabetic and have to monitor our blood but our blood sugars are perfect and controlled only by diet!!!! We both also took many pills for high blood pressure and now I take zero pills and he takes 1 tiny pill. We both wish you all the very best. You do have one of the best drs in the world to take care of you!!!!! Please check your email for some other msgs from us.

Shari, congratulations on your approval and receiving it in the mail. I was very excited when I got mine too. Thought I might frame but thought I might need to prove it, so I carry it with me everywhere I go. Crazy huh?
