Hi Jeanne, glad your surgery went so smoothly. I am waiting for the final go from my insurance company and Dr. Felix is my doctor also. So far everything has been great with his office. So hey what if you questioned the nurses, you were just looking out for yourself. Good luck in the days to follow and I hope I will be on the other side too soon.

Well AMOS Brothers and Sisters, i can't believe it but the surgery is over and I am home. i am feeling good and looking forward to better and better days ahead. Dr. Felix is GREAT!! I was a little disapointed in Clovis Comunity Hospital but "oh well". I am home and all is well. i met a wonderful young woman in the hospital her name was Brenda. She had surgery as well and I have to thank her for getting me out of the bed and down that hall. Ok, so what if I am at least 30 years older thank her.............I refuse to use that as an excuse. JUst lazy and now I am feeling so much better for doing what I was supposed to be doing. I will follow all the directions and do this right. I am too old to get a second chance so I won't mess up this one. Thank you all for being there. You have certainly made this alot simpler because I new so much. Ha almost too much. First I told them I couldn't have anything to eat until after the leak test. I didn't even know my Dr. doesn't give leak tests. Then I told them I couldn't take capsules they had to get me liquid meds. OOPPPS and then to top it all off I told them their pain meds were the wrong color. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT????????? My husband said I probably wasn't there favorite patient. Maybe that is why I got to come home so soon. Hugs to all and I will post again in a couple of days when it isn't so uncomfortable to sit at the 'puter

Hi Jeanne!--I see your day is almost here and I am very excited for you. I know you have an excellent surgeon and the hospital is a good one--you will do great!! I will definitely be checking in to see how you are doing!! Peace and Love be with you! :>) PS I hope they give ya the "happy juice" early on!

Jeanne, I will be remembering you in my prayers on the eve of the 21st. And also on the 22nd. I know you are just going to do great. You are in good hands with Dr. Felix. He truly is the best. I believe that. And yes you will be able to follow the program this time. Trust me on this one, you will not have the cravings you used to have that sabatoged you before. This time all systems are go, and the weight is going to be going going gone! Let me know how you are.

Jeanne, Good luck with the surgery. I just had to have a psych eval and it went fine. I am now waiting to hear from the doctor. I feel that Dr. Felix (I chose him too) is a great doctor and we are in good hands with him and the staff. I am a little scaried too and I haven't even been given a date but I think of the life that is to come and I am so excited.
