ANGEL REPORT******* Deirdre is still doing great, she has had the famous meal of jello and broth and is walking the halls. She is looking forward to coming home , which will be on Sunday. She can't wait to read all her surgery posts , so if you havedn't been there to wish her your best, stop by and send her all the best wishes for a speedy recovery...she is now on the lighter side!!!!! ^^^^^ANGEL REPORT^^^^^Just spoke with Deirdre and and she is doing fantastic! she has now passed her leak test and is awaiting that first meal of liquids!!! She said they had her up and walking a 4am this morning and she is doing very well, and may be she will be on her way home tomorrow! She is very upbeat and postive.. a very sweet lady!

Deirdre... I am thinking of you and praying for you today. This is a huge undertaking. My surgery was just one month ago, and I am feeling great again. No matter how rough these first days are, I promise it gets better. I am a "neighbor" of yours, I live in Fredericksburg. We have a support group that meets at the South Stafford YMCA once a month, the next meeting is April 9 at 7:30 pm. If you are feeling up to it then (and I'm sure you'll be feeling much better by then) join us for a great, supportive meeting. I'll be praying for your quick recovery and remarkable success. Angel Reporting~~~ Deirdre, is now out of surgery and in the recovery room, Her husband Steve said he talked to the doctor and everything went fine. Deirdre is now a postie!!!!!!!!!!! I'll check in on her a little later and up date...hugs to you all!!!!!!!!
