Sandra know that you are being held up ,up in prayer to the lord to give you a peaceful spirit for making the right decision for yourself. i had rny done 4th of janurary anf i have lost 69 lbs to date and it doeshelp with arthritis no it don't get rid of it but the pressure on joints is much better. so less pain. and tell her that you are doing this for you not to please and yone else. and that you love her anyway. we here on the site all are pulling for you . and so is God ,he wants you to be the best you can be

Sandra, my sister did the same thing before my surgery,(see my profile August8) and I can remember how upset it made me too. Jeremiah 29:11 became one of my favorite verses during those pre op days> For I know the plans I have for you...plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. And this one too >Psalm 56:3 - When I am afraid, I will trust in you. That sister bond can be overwhelming sometimes, can't it? But you hang in there, cause theres lots of us here to support you. Praying that God gives you strength and peace in the days to come.
