My name is Barby...I'm 23 years old and have been overweight for as long as I can remember! I'm married to the most wonderful and supportive man in the world and I couldn't ask for anyone better. I'm self-employed as a medical transcriptionist and that adds to the fact that I'm overweight since my work is so sedentary. I come from a Cuban family who loves to celebrate every important ocassion with food and drinks! White rice, black beans, meat, cuban bread, flan and dulce de leche are always present at our family reunions and have claimed me their victim! But now I am standing up and deciding to make a change for myself and for my future. I want to become healthy and energetic and love myself. I have a scheduled sx date of November 17 and I am so excited to start a "new life"! Wish me luck!
