My last post on OH back in 2004 - Long story short, I was denied twice after completing the required items. Then they put my third submission off till the first of the next year when, by coincidence, they quit covering Bariatric Surgery!......so I gave up.
But I'm starting over. The last several years have been a rollercoaster and now I'm back to where I started, 300 lbs. So we have been offered Aetna POS II, Plan B, and they cover the surgery up to $25,000. They have prerequisites, 3 months worth, so I am getting started in November with the pre-work. The new insurance will kick in January. Hopefully I can be ready by the spring for surgery. We shall see.
I live in the Houston area. I originally selected Dr Spivak, but that was eight years ago. I am open to any suggestions.
