Amy, best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I had mine in November 2000, and I have never had a single regret. One thing that may help to remember is that the nervousness is over with when you wake up in the recovery room to your new life.

Amy, I'm wishing you a successful surgery and a smooth recovery. I had my open RNY on Dec. 10, 2001 and I have absolutely NO regrets other than not doing this several years ago. It is, without a doubt, the best thing I could have done for myself. God bless you as you start your new, healthier life.

OH, my goodness!!!! You sound so excited and you should be. This is the beginning of a new life, a wonderful new life. I had my wls last june and have lost 90 lbs. Hi there!! Amy I hope things go great for you. I had my surgery on Feb. 1st and I have done fabulous. My husband is a few days ahead of you he is scheduled for his on the 4th of March. I wish you the best of luck for a speedy and healthy recovery!! I will say a little prayer for you!
