"Becky is the one you keep in contact with before and after wls. She is great. She will answer any question you may have and if she does'nt she will find out and return you with one the same day. she is a great asset to Hickory surgical we need her so badly.I have never had to call them on the week-end but it is nice to know Becky The dietician and Joyce. Jock. the RN's are there weekdays and nights and weekends to answer and help 24/7"
" 6/13/03 I had my consult today with dr Cook.was very impressed by the way he answered all of my question's and his nurse Fran and his staff are really great,Lisa said she will turn in my paper work to bcbs (blue care) Monday and should know in a few days if they clear me for surgery. I have heard about the nightmare of ins wait for approval so I plan to stay busy around the clock untill I hear from them or Lisa. On a scale of 1 to 10 I rate Dr Cook and his staff a 10 I will update again when or if I get approve for surgery. 6/23/03 "BCBS" "APPROVED ME" Lisa just phone me wow in just 2 days that was fast.so "EXCITED" It will soon be here I got a Surgery Date 8/13/2003

I am sorry about this late update Lightning wipe out my computer it was only 2 years old? Well now I have my new one. And I had my surgery 8/13/03 and it went great. thanks to Dr Cook and the wonderful nurses.it has been 3 weeks now and I have lost 17 lbs. "Yippee" Dr Cook and his staff are so Great!"
