Well, I'm off to see the Wizard. I'm leaving for the hospital in 30 minutes and should be heading for surgery in a little over 3 hours. Whew. I'm ready.

Hi Yvonne, so sorry about your surgery delay--but wed. is closer than you know! I will be going under iwth ya, it is my date too. Sorry about your experience with the support group--dont count them all out though. I wish I had one in my area, but there is none. I was thinking of starting my own--I know about 6 people who have had or is having this done, lol. well, Good luck, praying for us all. hugs!

Yvonne, I am so sorry about your surgical delay. You are tough. I know I would have wiped a few tears. Your "support group" sounded awful. Please know that they are not all like that. I do prefer to do the support thing on-line, but real, warm people are out there at physical support groups too. Just keep coming back to us. We'll help get you through.

Yvonne, I am so sorry about your delayed surgery. I know you were all psyched up only to suffer a major disappointment. But hey, it's only a short delay and not a cancellation, so you will be post op in no time. I wish you good luck and good health with your recovery. The first 2 weeks are the roughest but hang in there because it will get a little better each day. A WLS friend,
