UPDATE!!! I got through at the hospital. The nurse I got on the phone was pleasant yet cautious in informing me of how Carol is doing. She gave little info although did say that she was resting comfortably. Thats all that matters. Unfortunately with my work hours I can't stop by the hospital to send our love but please post Carol your best wishes and prayers. (P.S. Thanks for the hint Rhonda it worked!!!!) Have a great day everyone. Leanne

Hi Everyone! I just wanted to let everyone know that Carol was to have her surgery yesterday. She is the first person I have spoken to on this site and since I live in Toronto Canada where she is to have her surgery . We spoke (via e-mail) on Sunday, and she told me she didn't order a phone with her room at the hospital because all of her family is out of town and she is a single mom and doesn't need the extra expense. I called the hospital last night and was transferred to the nurses station on her floor. Unfortunately the person I spoke to was not co-operative. She asked if I was family. When I explained that I was part of her support ring, she said she could give me no information. Now, I'm not giving up. I did call late. (I don't finish work until 9:00pm and didn't get home until close to 10:00pm. I am off work today and hope that the nurse I get will be more receptive and understanding. This isn't the update I wanted to post but please keep her in your prayers. I will keep everyone posted on what I can find out until Carol gets home and can post her own updates. Have a great Tuesday and all the best to those having surgery today. GOD BLESS. Leanne
