As an Army wife I should be used to it.  Apparently, I'm not.  I'm not a very patient person and the waiting is driving me crazy.  I know it's all part of the process though, and it gives me time to learn all that I can and to find a good network of friends that will be there for me after the process has began snowballing along.  :)

I'm also trying to find a balance between knowledge and obsession.  I've been reading all I can about surgery, the process, tips, and even videos of the procedure.  I spent three hours yesterday looking things up.  I want to make sure I know everything about the process to make it work for me, but I also need to remember that I have a life, and a busy one at that.  :)

I guess the only thing I can do right now is wait.  :)
