"I first met Dr. Johnson at an informational seminal on 9/26/11. I also met nurse Paula and Patient Advocate Susie that night. I had been thinking about having this surgery for years, but kept on telling myself that I could lose the weight on my own: big denial. Although Dr. Johnson does look very young, I read reviews and listened to others who were at the seminar who had surgery done by him, and gave him glowing reviews. I then scheduled a first office visit with Dr. Johnson and he was very down to earth and point-blank about the relationship between health and weight. I decided that I had nothing to lose except weight, and actually had surgery a couple of days ago on 12/05/11. Although Dr. Johnson is in high demand a busy surgeon, he provided one-on-one time to address any concerns I had, any fears, and called me after surgery after I felt something may not have been right at home. I would recommend Dr. Johnson to anyone that wants a Center of Excellence in Bariatric Surgery."
