My story is just beginning... I have talked to my doctor and am waiting to see my psychiatrist for approval for the surgery. Luckily I have the type of insurance that once the doctor refers you that pretty much covers medical necessity so I will not have to go through a drawn out insurance approval process. Once I get the okay from my psychiatrist my doctor says it can be as soon as three weeks before I have the surgery. I'm happy, I'm nervous, I'm scared, I'm apprehensive. If anyone has any words of encouragement I would love to hear from you. I would also like to hear from people who may not have the best of experiences, because I know that it's not all roses and there are some thorns.... I wish everyone well in their endeavors...
