Colleen, I'm fairly new to this board (waiting to get approved for surgery), but I wanted to let you know how sorry I am that you've been through so much! Life seems especially unfair at times, doesn't it? I can't imagine what Aetna is thinking in regards to your case. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking of you and will be hoping for a really positive outcome in the very near future. (BTW, beautiful picture you have on your profile!) Good luck, Colleen. Keep us posted!

Colleen- I just read your profile and wanted to take a moment to congratulate you on your weight loss so far. Thanks for continuing to stick around the AMOS board and lend your experience to us pre-ops. I have a close friend who struggles with lymphedema (spelling?) and know how difficult it is for her. I pray that God will help your doctors to guide you to the right medication and treatment to help reduce your swelling and that you will be on your way to your new and even more improved healthier body before long! God bless you!

Sounds like he is to involved in his patients weight loss, like their losses reflect how good a Dr he is, instead of how their individual bodies reaction to surgery. You don't have to tolerate that kind of abuse. Report him to the state Medical Assoc if he continues it. Patient abuse is not ever to be tolerated, at least by the patients. But then why would you want to continue to see him. Also post on your pages comments about him so others will see how he treated you. If you know you're following the rules then thats what counts. Good Luck for continued weight loss.
