I will be at the SouthPointe Hospital in St. Louis Mo (Formerly Lutheran Medical). Surgery time 9 am on the 17th. I will be in ICU until Friday. Please keep me in you prayers and I'll see you all on the other side!

Chell, I just wanted to say how happy I am for you to be just days away from "the other side." I am still jealous as heck that it's you going b/4 me, but I am so excited for you!!! :) I'll miss you at work & I have been & will continue to pray for you. Wooohoooo!!!!! You're almost there girl. :)

Hi Chelle! I have rejoined the land of the living (I came home from the hospital). This was not the most pleasant experience in the world, but I have confidence that it will be worth it in the long run. It meant so much to see you there just as I was going into surgery (Yes, that was my grin). I am sorry I couln't talk when you called, but I had an allergic reaction to the morphine and did not feel well at all when you called. The angel statue is so adorable and appropriate. I got so many compliments from nurses. I wish I could be there in person for you too on your surgery date, but know that my thoughts and prayers will be there! I will be with my grandparents until Saturday, so it may be a few days until you hear from me again....

Hi Michelle, I am sure that it is natural to be scared but just read all the wonderful stories of all those brave souls who have gone before us. It really is an inspiration to me. I will be having my surgery on June 4th. I was scheduled for May 25th but there was a confilct with my surgeons schedule. I will pray for you. Just try some relaxing music and "visualize" yourself thin and healthy. God Bless You. Norma

Hi Michelle, Thank you so much for your warm wishes. I will be at Southe Pointe Hospital Friday (May 4th) at about 11:30 am for my 1:30 pm surgery while you are there for your preop testing so if you here someone call my name, tell me hi! I know what you mean about wanting to talk, talk, talk about it! I have been driving my co-workers nuts I think...LOL.
