What a slacker I have been

Apr 28, 2007

On December 26th my aunt and uncle were in a plane crash on there way back home to Florida after spending christmas in MI. He was killed along with his mother, my aunt and a family friend survived with multiple injuries. That was a very stressful time in my life, I sorta fell off the wagon as far as my eating habits go. I have tried a few times to get back to basics with vitamins and protein but I just cant seem to make myself stick to it. I know that they are both very important items in my being successful with my weight loss and maintaining it. So what is my excuse? I just I dont have one just getting back into my old habits that I know dang well I need to get out of.

I will be 11 months out on Monday the 30th and have lost 135lbs so far. I feel great and still have zero regrets about having my surgery. I am starting to get attention from men and I love getting all dolled up and looking pretty. I just recently found out that the gallbladder needs to come out. I also need to have surgery to repair some girly things, so I am working on finding two surgeons that will work together. One recovery time is what my goal is. Since I will be having my gallbladder out I will be hitting my out of pocket expense with my insurance, so more then likely I will try to have my tummy tuck before the end of the year as well.

I guess I should close for now, I could continue to ramble on and on all day. Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend!

What a blessing

Nov 29, 2006

This tool has been the best thing ever. Today is my 6 month anniversary and I am feeling great. I took my kids roller skating last Thursday evening and we had a blast. I would have never ever done that 100 lbs ago. (I only fell once, and its been atleast 20 years since i have had skates on) When I started this journey my BMI was 57.1 and now its 40.4, only 3 more pounds to loose and I will just be obese.

Until later

Weekly weigh in

Nov 21, 2006

I ran into my PCP's this morning to hop on the scale, it finally moved. I lost 3 pounds this week which puts me at 97 pounds lost. My 6 month anniversary will be November 30th, so I am hoping for 100 pounds by then.

Up and running.......Finally

Nov 17, 2006

I have finally gotten my new profile up and running. I  will be six months out on the 30th of this month and I so want to be 100 lighter at that point. I have only 6 more pounds to go, but for the first time in this journey the scales have not been moving. My 36th birthday is 11/27, that would be the best birthday present I have ever given myself.  Even if i didnt lose another pound by the 27th I think 94 lbs is one hell of a birthday present. Until Later
