My name is Dawn. I am 34 years old. I am 5'8" and I currently weigh 328 and I wear 26/28. I have always had issues with food. I have been obese since high school. Which means I have been a big girl for over 16 years. I have an amazing husband, who loves me unconditionally. I am ao grateful for him and all he does for our family. I also have a precious 8 year old son. I have thought about wls off and on for 7 years. After researching and thinking about wls I went to my PCP in June 2007. That started the process. I went to the orientation in September, my consult with the surgeon, the nutritionist and the program director in January. In February I started to lose my 10%. I am currently within 4lbs of my surgery goal weight. I have my Psych evaluation on June 13. I am hoping to have surgery soon so that I won't have to miss too much work. I am a food service worker for a High School and school starts in August. :)
