Kim got out of the hospital after 2:00pm and she is at home resting.

I talked with Kim this morning and she is is some pain, not bad tho. She said her epidural kept falling out so they took it out yesterday, along with her IV. She did complain about the fact that they were trying to give her cut green beans, a pepsid pill (not crushed or chewable) and Sprite. She refused those things tho because she knew Dr. Case had told her not to take whole pills, etc. She also said that when she is in pain that she has to go to the nurses station to get her med, because if she calls then they take to long. She says she is ready to come home, but as of 11 a.m. Dr. Case hadn't come in yet, so maybe she will go home today. I'll update you more when I hear more.

Great to hear you are doing so well. Those nurses can be pesky can't they? LOL Keep walking and drinking, things will get better. Hang in there!

Well a New Year and a New Kim! Kim got up to walk last night and she said it felt better to walk. She didn't get any sleep last night due to the nurses comming in all the time taking vitals and checking on her. She is hopeing for a more restful night tonight. She is a trooper! The family would like to thank everyone for all the prayers.

KIM WENT IN TO SURGERY AT 9:35 AM AND THE DR CAME OUT ABOUT 1:10 TO TELL US SHE CAME THROUGH IT WITH FLYING COLORS AND SHE WOULD BE FINE. SHE SPENT 1 HOUR IN RECOVERY AND THEN ON TO A ROOM ON THE FLOOR SHE LOOKS GOOD AND THE ONLY THING SHE SAID THAT HURTS IS HER BACK. I LEFT THE HOSPITAL AT 5:00 PM AND THEY WERE GOING TO GET HER UP TO WALK SO I WILL REPORT ON THE WALK TOMORROW. SHE IS IN GREAT SPIRTS AND SHE IS GOING TO BE FINE. KIM HAS A WONDERFULL FAMILY AND A GREAT SUPPORT TEAM AND THEY REALY MADE ME FEEL LIKE PART OF THE FAMIY. I WILL UPDATE TOWORROW HOPE
