Hi Donna! Dr. Provost did my surgery 4 years ago!!! I am doing amazingly well and I think he is the best surgeon around! I used to live in Dallas but now I live in Kentucky. My profile has a lot of details near the bottom of it concerning Dr. Provost. I think he looks a lot like the comedian Dana Carvey. I love that he wears his cowboy boots! I am not sure what hospital you will be in but Zale Lipshy was like a 4 star hotel!! Its hard to remember a lot of details after 4 years but if I can help you in any way, email me. I am proud of you sweetie. I read your profile and you have amazing perseverance. I hate that you have to be self-pay. It is so worth it though.. especially to fit in those airline seats comfortably. Congratulations on your decision to make a positive change in your life. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I wish you good luck, good health and a speedy recovery. I had lap RNY on Febr. 8. I had no real pain and I am going back to work early I feel so good. I hope your experience is as positive!

Donna, I am so glad this is finally happening for you. This surgery is a life changing event, changing it for the better. You will do great and know that you will be in thoughts and prayers.
