Okay, so today I start my liquid diet, and had my first potein drink and gagged it up....It is the grosses thing ever... I went to GNC and the sale clerk told me that the mixed berry was the best tasting one (mixed with water) that he sold in the store....He also sold me one that was chocolate and said that it was really good with milk. havent tryed it yet cuase I cant have milk on this diet...I dont know what to do?????

If anyone has a really good kind of portein powder that they like can you please let me know???? I cant drink that shit....

One more week! I start my liquid diet on Wednesday! I still have to go and get some potein powder! Not looking foward to drinking that shit...But gotta do it!

I'm cleaning my house really good today..So Sunday all i have to do is pick up after everyone...Cause God only knows no one around here can do it....Also getting all the laundry done too! Dont even think my hubby know how to turn the washer on, so I need to get everyones clothes clean!

Need to pay some bills and shop for after surgery diet stuff...and pack for the hospital...Then i think im good!!!!

Oh just remembered I need to go get a pedicure too!!!!!

Two more days of work then I'm off till the Doc. say I can go back!

Whoo-Hooo! I am SOOOOOO EXCITED.....!!!!!!

So two days ago saw my PCP to get medical clearance for surgery, and I'm good to go! YIPPEE! Yesterday I went to see my nutritionist so I can start my Fatty liver Diet today! LUCKY ME! On Oct. 7Th I have to start the clear liquid diet! Oh how I can't wait! Ugh.....Also had more blood work done....Talked to the nurse on what to except the day of surgery and I talked to my surgeon.  She went over the true, false test I had to take to make sure I understood everything. I got a perfect score! I guess that would happen if you research something for the last two years!!!!lol!!!

I also found out that I'm the first case so I have to be at the Hospital at 5:45am....


Today at 8:30 am I have to go to the Hospital for a Hida Scan CCK. To make sure that my Gallbladder is functioning right! I hope it is, that way I dont have to be back to see anyone till Oct. 12Th....Whoo-hooo!

So I go Monday at 1pm to see my primary care doc. to get medical clearance for my surgery.....And Tuesday at 10am I see my Nutritionist and Surgeon about my pre-operative preparation....

18 days till my surgery...I cant wait....I'm so Happy and Excited!

OMG.......I HAVE A DATE!!!!  I'M SO EXCITED!!!!  I HAVE BEEN WAITING 2 YEARS TO BE ABLE TO WRITE THOSE WORDS!!!!! WOO-HOO......


OH YEAH I ALL MOST FORGOT TO TELL YOU MY DATE.....OCTOBER 12TH......

Wow! Thanks Rachel for telling me to call my insurance! I did and they told me that they sent out the letter yesterday, saying that I was approved! WOO-HOO!  Cheers to me!

So I called the Doctors office this morning to find out what was going on....I didn't hear from anyone so I was confused! But anyway they told me they sent out everything to my insurance on September 3rd...They haven"t heard anything yet...But that's OK it was good news to me just to know that its in their hands... But I'll tell you what I hate waiting.....I hope they call soon!

I felt so groggy yesterday, from the sedation......I was making mac and cheese for the kids and ended up putting roman noodles in the boiling water.... Dumb ass!  But anyway everything went good at the hospital.. I had some lab work done, an ultra sound, chest x- ray, EKG and the EGD done.... The doc put me on Prevacid to treat Gastroesophageal reflux disease....So I hope that gets cleared up soon.....So now i guess i just wait to see whats next, cuz i have no clue....I wish they would send in my paper work to the insurance...I didn't think they needed any of the results from yesterday to complete the paperwork, but maybe they did.....I hate waiting

Yea, I'm so glad I got this done...Dr. Clorfene was a very nice man....He did make me cry.....But that's OK...He had me talking about the relationship with my father....ugh...I'm just glad its over! He did say that he thought I would do great with having the surgery and that I really understood what was expected of me after surgery....So, woo- hoo!!!!Send that paper work to my doc. office so they can submit everything to the ins...Now I'm just anticipating my next apt. on September 2nd for some of the pre-op testing....

Okay, so I've been waiting forever for the nurse to call me back on a time to be at the hospital for all my testing...( chest x-ray, some blood work, ultra sound on my galbladder, EKG and a EDG)....So she finally called last night and I have to be there at 7:50am on September 2nd....Yea, lets get this show on the road.... So I cant wait for my apt. tomarrow for my psych....Then they can turn everything in to my ins...
