excited and happy! My mother just made the decision to get WLS... She wants the lap band and her insurance does cover WLS...So she called today to make a appointment for a consultation...Her date is august 27th...yea...Know we can make this journey together...

Finished my managed weight loss program!

......I finished! I went today for my last visit and gained 2.6 lbs...ugh
... but I'm okay with that...So I lost 7 lbs for the 3 months.. I have my Psychiatric Evaluation
on the 27th on this month.So then they can turn it all over to my ins. company...Then i guess its a waiting game
! I also have an appointment the 2nd of September for my pre-op testing! I cant believe this process is actually moving along as fast as it is!

So, my insurance has changed their policies. I now only have to do a 3 month managed weight loss program!!!!! I'm so excited!!!! I went today for my two month fallow up and i lost 10 lbs..... I had to ask if her scale was broken! She laughed and said no! I really have changed some of my eating habits. I really want this...And i am ready for it! its been 27 years to long! One more month to go and they can send in my paper work to my insurance! I hope everything else goes good...And I'm shooting for another 10 lbs!

So I met with a new Surgeon, and i really liked her and her staff....I was there for three hours, and they really filled my head with info.. I'm starting my 6 month managed weight loss program on wednesday, so my insurance will cover this.....I've tried diets but nothing that my insurance will consider for coverage....ugh....I also decided that i want RNY.....so my goal is to have surgury by the end of this year......fingers crossed......hope bcbs of ILL. works fast....

Hi everyone! I'm back! I took some time off from thinking about any surgerys, to try and have another baby! But i didnt happen :( It's okay tho.....i gave it a year and nothing, so back to doing some research. Someone told me about a surgery called the verical sleeve gastrectomy.... so im going to research it.... If anyone has heard anything about could you give me some info or stories i should know...please and thank you.......

I'm really having a hard time making up my mind ......
i really want to have the gastic bypass but my hubby wants me to have lap-band. so i talked to the doctor about having lap band and really thinks that i would do better with gastic bypass. i have too much weight to lose and with some of my eating habits he thinks it would work best! i just dont want to make anyone upset or worried! i really agree with the doc......
just needed to vent....

WELL I REALLY SUCKED AT THE MANAGED WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM. I ONLY WENT FOR A MONTH AND A HALF. I'M NOT SURE WHAT MY DEAL WAS. I WAS IN A FUNK, AND I THINK I'M FINALLY GETTING OUT OF IT.
I'M GETTING BACK ON TRACK, I MADE SOME APPOINTMENTS TO GET ME STARTED AGAIN. SO WISH ME LUCK!

MARCH 19TH GOT A CALL FROM THE DOCTORS OFFICE, MY INSURANCE WANTS A MEDICALLY MANAGED WEIGHT LOSE PROGRAM DONE. I HAVENT BEEN ON A DIET IN 2 YEARS. SO I GUESS ITS TIME TO DO IT AGAIN. YOU KNOW I'VE NEVER HAD ANY GOOD RESULTS TO KEEP ME WANTING TO CONTINUE. BUT HERE I GO, IT CANT HURT! IN JULY I'M GOING TO START MY PRE-OP CLASSES! SO EXCITED THAT I'M GOING THREW WITH EVERYTHING. I CANT WAIT FOR THE KNEW ME!
