Deborah, I wasn't too nervous either before surgery, resigned that I had made the best decision for me and ready to fix it. I am doing great, 10 months post op and down 115 punds. My life is so much better and yours will be also, I will say a prayer for you to heal quickly and with no complications. Mary

Hi Deborah. I wasn't nervous and actually slept good the night before. I started getting nervous when I woke up and had to take a shower using that gross soap I had to get. When they took me back to get undressed and stuff, then I really started to get nervous. My blood pressure went through the roof and they asked me if I wanted something to calm me down and I said YES. My hubby gave me a hug and we both started to cry. I was afraid that was the last time I would see him. He probably thought the same too. But look at me..7 weeks post op, 41.5 lbs down!!! Good luck and I'll see you on the "losing" side!!!

Well I am at three days and counting. I am not feeling nervous yet. Is there something wrong with me? I am at peace with my decision and feel that it is right for me. I will probably get nervous on Sunday night but right now I am anxious to get on with it. Anyone else have these feelings. So on Sunday, I start on liquids and drink the lovely phosphate soda and on to the hospital at 7:30 a.m. for 9:30 a.m. surgery. Thank you all so much for your prayers and inspiring words. They really mean alot to me. God bless you all.
