Everything is going well. Dr. Hill encouraged me to continue training for the halfmarathon in April. WLS has been a very positive experience so far.

Down 83 pounds
Jan 09, 2010
I've lost 83 pounds. I am training for a half marathon and wearing nice clothes off the rack. My wife is extremely jealous of all of the female attention that I have been getting so I am trying to be considerate of that. It is an ego booster but threatening to her.

This is pretty awesome 38 lbs. since surgery. Lots of walking every day, recumbent bike and weights. I am using a pill box to make sure I am taking all of my vitamins and suppliments.

Finally No Pain
Oct 24, 2009
Finally no pain! Full week at work. I went to two parties and enjoyed myself. I was able to eat a little fish and was not bothered by not drinking alcohol. Things are starting to come together but it is still weird eating exxtremely small protions. I was always the one with the biggest plate, cup, or bowl. Now its very cool but weird to have the smallest and the weight is still coming off, down to 269 People are starting to notice and I'm running out of clothes.

Back to work
Oct 19, 2009
Back to work today. Everybody was impressed with the 50 lbs. that I lost. It was nice to see everybody but I am wicked tired. My routine was planned out. I stayed focused. Boy my "skinny" pants were pretty loose. I just don't want to buy any clothes until I get to my goal weight.

Four Weeks Post Op
Oct 15, 2009
It's been 4 weeks since i had the Ry laproscopic gastric bypass on 9/17/09. My weight then was 301. Today I weighed in at 274. I feel pretty good. I am still sore in the left abdomen. Some days are better than others. I am doing well tolerating foods but I don't feel hungry. I am supposed to return to work on 10/19/09. I have gained and lost a lot of weight in my life and have done so since 7th grade. I am looking forward to living a more active life. It has been very inspiring to see the folks on this site who have had the same issues and taken remarkable steps in their lives.
