As of today, I weigh 199.8.  I am officially under 200 lbs.  I don't know why this is so signicant to me, but it is.  The fact that I could change my weight (on this website) and have it start with a "1" was very satisfying.  I am also considered "overweight" now, instead of "obese", which also feels very, very good.

Looking forward to more success to come!

I have now lost 30 lbs!  Feelings great...except, I am still dealing with a bit of acid reflux.  I am hoping I might start up on omeprazole again, but not sure if that's OK or not.  Would love some input.

Otherwise, things are going really well.

I am now one month out from my surgery.  I have lost 25 lbs.  Weight loss is slowing down, now that I've been eating pureed foods for two weeks.  BUT, I still feel hopeful.

I joined a gym and walk on the treadmill as much as I can.  This week has been nuts at work so I haven't had time (out at rehearsals until 10 every night.)  I plan to go back today since the semester is winding down and I'll have more day time to spend at the gym.

Looking forward to summer!

 I'm 10 days out and have lost 16 lbs.  My clothes already fit better, and my face looks thinner.  Amazing.

I'm starving, but I guess that's part of the deal when all you "eat" is liquid.  Am still in Phase II (full liquids)...start Phase III on Monday.  Excited, but nervous about stretching the pouch, etc.  I suppose the rest of my life will be about how much I take in, measuring, etc.  I'm fine with that if it means I'll have my body back.

Occasionally, I still have pain in my belly, which surprises me, but then I remember that I only had surgery 10 days ago.  HA!

 I had a VSG on 3/21/11.  So far, very little pain.  I have lost 12 lbs (due to the clear liquid diet).  I am VERY MUCH looking forward to eating full liquids on Tues.  However, I am worried about how I'll do after the 6 week liquid diet.  I have failed at many diets.  I am paranoid about stretching my pouch...am looking for some support along the way.
