Had Surgery!

5/6/2007. Woo hoo! I had my surgery!!! Lap RNY on April 26, 2007. I'm 10 days out today and feeling good. I had to do pre-op stuff and my original surgery date was 5/3/2007. But all the pre-op stuff was good, and they had an opening a week earlier 4/26/2007.
My surgery was around 1 p.m. on Thursday and I was released by 1 p.m. the next day! I only took my pain medicine 1 time after I came home. The first night--I was worried I wouldn't be able to sleep because of the pain--and I couldn't sleep on my sides or tummy. That medicine tasted so yucky to me, that I decided I would have to be in a heck of a lot more pain to ever take that again!
10 days out, I have hardly any soreness left. I have to go back to work in a week. Ugh. But I'm taking it easy and recuperating nicely while I'm off!
I try to take a walk each evening, but that really wears me out. And I taking a shower, because it absolutely exhausts me. But I think each day gets a little better. :)
