"11/09/06 Well tomorrow will be the last day that I see Dr Rod as he is moving in a different directions in his career .. Definitely seems like the kind of person that would be strict, and would want you to follow the guidelines .. But afterall, this is a lifelong change, so who wouldnt .. *L*rn<br>rnOn the downside, he definitely does not give you any warm fuzzies .. Im sure that is on purpose, but with something as big as this in your life you would hope to have some sort of comforting feeling from your dr .. rn<br>rnBest about Dr Rod is his experience and knowledge of the procedures .. Risks of surgery were outlined time and time again .. You cannot be warned enough during the DAY long orientation about the risks .. <br>rn<br>rnThank goodness you get all the warm fuzzies from ALL of the people that are on his staff though !!! They were ALL very friendly, knowledgable and fun !! <br>rn<br>rnIn my opinion, I want the best possible surgeon for the job .. That is my ultimate goal, but some people really do base their decisions off bedside manners *shrugs* rn<br>rn<br>rn<br>rn03/14/05rnI have only met Dr. Dirk Rodriguez when he performed one of my best friends surgery .. I really liked him and I really like how he has treated her and the after care program that he has from what I have heard is really good ..She tells me, he is very strict, but fair and helps you in what you need to do .. rnrnCant wait to meet him again under my surgery care .. "My stay there was tremendous .. The people were wonderful, the dr's are great .. The accomadations are really good .. The rooms are HUGE and private .. A + all the way .. Of course, Dr. Rod is the best .. :) "
