Cheers, Carol is going home tomorrow, well, to her nephews for a couple of days. Then Monday she'll be winging over the mountains to her Mom's house for a little TLC for a week or so.

Carol is doing well, walked the hall this morning. Taking sips of water with no problems. Cheerful, upbeat, determined to do well with this tool she's been given. Says the nutritionist was in & left her a pamphlet with tips on how to get her protein in. They don't encourage protein supplements, just using regular food sources in inventive ways. Hoping to get out of the hospital soon. She has to fly to Spokane so may spend a few days on the west side before she flies home.

Talked with Carol this morning, she has been up walking a couple of times, says they are keeping her medicated so she isn't hurting. She has an epidural which works well for her. Says she is going to do everyhting she's told so this will work for her. Sounded good for someone just a day post-op. Congratulations Carol.

CAROL~~YIPPIE~~~WOOHOO~~COCKLE DOODLE DOO (oops guess I got carried away...lol) I know it must hurt to laugh since you just had surgery so I will try to act NORAML...(yea right). Well I was saving my post to your surgery page for after you made it to the other side. Can you believe that you are a BIG FAT LOSER now? Well I can because you are so AMAZING~! You have so much to be proud of yourself for and remember you did this for YOU because YOU DESERVE IT~! You and Linda have showed us all what true love and support is all about~! Called the Hospital, Carol is in recovery, won't be back in her room for about an hour. I'll check later & update the board. Congratulations Carol, your're on the "losing" side.

I just wanted to thank everyone for their kind thoughts & prayers! I will be taking my pre-op shower shortly... then another in the a.m. I am so excited that I can hardly stand it! I bought a Spiegel catalog and have been picking out my new wardrobe! LOL! Seriously though... I believe that God has given me such peace... knowing that no matter what... I am in his hands!! Thanks to all keeping me in their prayers... Nin: You will be there with me... as you already are!!! I love you!! Love, Carol
