Dearest Gail, I was roaming around the picture gallery and I came across your profile. After reading your profile I can discreetly remember all of the pain that you are perservering. I was miserable!!! I had my surgery on 10/25/01 and it was the greatest thing that I have ever done for myself. I'm down 100 pounds. Continue to stay focused and do all you can to better your health. I know you can do it. It's not an easy task but it can be done - it's being done everyday by our peers. I wish you the best of luck. Please keep in touch. Best wishes!

I'm wishing you a safe, uncomplicated surgery and a fast recovery as you begin your new life. I had my open RNY on Dec. 10, 2001 and I'm so glad I did. It was the best thing I could have done for myself. God Bless.
