Congratulations on your upcoming surgery. I just had to write a note, and wish you all the best. I saw your bright, radiant smile, and thought, "what a great smile!" You will be smiling a lot more once you recover, and take your journey to the slimmer side of yourself. God bless

Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice; it is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved.” William Jennings Bryan. I am wishing you all the best for the next chapter of the rest of your life.

Hey girl. You know that I've been your angel for the last twenty years of our friendship, so I wouldn't stop now. I'll be there to support you as I always have. It's seems that we are always going through things together. We better stop or else people will start to talk (LOL). I am so glad that your date is before mine. You know that I am a big baby, so you have to walk me through the receovery process. Love You Always.

Gwendolyn, best wishes to you for an uneventful surgery and a recovery thats as quick and painfree as possible. This is a quote from my grandmothers favorite book she gave me as a gift. "But if in your thought you must measure time into seasons, let each season encircle all the other seasons, and let today embrace the past with remembrance and the future with longing" (Kahil Gibran)

Gwen. I know what you mean about all the paperwork stuff. I think I made a pest of myself calling the Dr office and then the Ins company every week to make sure each one had what they needed if not I called again....My persistance paid off for I got my approval in 3 weeks. (probably sooner if the Dr office would have been quicker getting info to Ins co.) On the last call to the ins co they said they approved but needed a few things to finalize..I asked what it was..they told me and I hung up and called the Dr. Office told them to fax the info to the ins. then by the end of that week my approval letter came.....Sorry so lomg but just keep at it.....Its frusterating but worth it in the end and shows the ins company you mean business too. Good luck and keep us posted. Jamie

Hi Gwen, Just wanted to say try to keep your head up. I know what it feels like to play the waiting game. When you get approved in the end, it will be well worth the wait. Stay positive. Audra in CA

Gwendolyn... I know how it feels to go through that and I'm so sorry you are feeling down. My best advice to you about your insurance company is to call, call, and call again. It doesn't hurt for them to see you are serious about this and you want the approval. What's the worse that could happen....they give in and let you have the surgery so you won't call anymore?? :)) Keep trying and don't give up. All the fighting will be worth it. I will be thinking of you and hope to see soon that you have a date with the losing side. :)
