::Flutter, flutter:: Angel coming in for a landing! THUD. Ooops! LOL
Stacy had her surgery today as scheduled, LAP RNY, and if you can BELIEVE this, I actually SPOKE to her at 2:00 pm EST this afternoon! I couldn't BELIEVE she could hold a conversation with me! Her DH, Randy, answered the phone, and then asked if I wanted to talk with Stacy! Of course I said, "Yes!"
She said her pain wasn't bad at all, and that she was able to have ice chips today. Tomorrow they will do her leak test, and then it's on to the YUMMY water! Yay!
I told her I was so excited for her, and she said, "Yes, I'm finally on the other side!" I told her indeed she was! CONGRATULATIONS STACY! ~Blessings to all~

Hey Stacy, Your posts have been wonderful to read and I thank you for that. I am pre-op too and I wish my date would come sooner but I know when it does...WOW...Lots of crazy thoughts in your head. I know your surgery will go good tomarrow. Someone said Prepare for the worst and pray for the best. I think that is all we can do.See ya on the better side...

Stacy, Tomorrow is finally your turn. It's YOUR DAY!!! You will have a new beginning my friend! Remember all that you have learned through your research & especially in the C.R. You know how essential it is to walk ....walk...& then when you are tired of doing that.... walk again. Use your Spirometer! These are a VERY important part in the recovery process. You already have a very positive attitude & that is the secret. I strongly believe in the Power of Positive Thinking. That's what got me to Goal & will see you there also! Soon when you come into the C.R. all that you will be hearing is " Stacy.....GWL! You're melting!" We will all miss you so hurry back to us! Have a safe journey my friend & God Bless. Lynnie@Goal
