HEIDI~~ IT'S NORMAL TO BE SCARED~~ I had complications and many people on the board have come forward to post about their complications. Some have been as minor as naseau and some as major as mine as a bowel kink which required a second surgery. Do as much research as you can and make your decision from your heart. FOCUS ON THE POSITIVE... THINK ABOUT WHAT WLS WILL DO FOR YOU... KEEP BUSY.... Check out my profile page, it has a lot of information on it that might help you.

Heidi, congratulations on your upcoming surgery. May peace and love surround you on your journey and carry you along safely. Remember to drink your water, take your vitamins, walk daily and most importantly, be gentle with yourself along the way. Lastly, don't forget to stop by occasionally and update your profile. I HAVE A DATE!!!...febuary 26th...(i tried posting this last night, but it didn't go thru) ohhh i'm excited, now scared.. now i have so many more questions now that this is all happening!!!.. i was wondering if there is anybody out there who is like 10 years post-op..i'm wondering this because now that it is happening i'm starting to worry about future problems, yeah i'll lose weight and get healthy (wooohooo), but what if 10 years down the line something goes wrong!!..i think it is all sinking in now. i have to remember this is major sugery and there could be side effects, maybe not now, but later in life... sorry to be a bummer, but it's all coming up now. i've done my research, but i want to be sure because there is always someones story or some study done that i've missed. otherwise i am excited, but scared...i'm sure you can all relate!!!! love to all and god bless!!!!!!!!
