Saw Jo this morning at Pomerado Hospital. She is sore having broken a rib coughing--that is SOME cough! and she still has pnuemonia. Her WLS surgeon would release her but he says the pulmonologist would make her stay anyhow. So there she is waiting for all the pnuemonia beasties to vacate. She was in good humor and looked better than I expected her to look. Drop her a note on her page and I'll print the card and take it in to her tomorrow.

I just spoke to Jo by phone. She's still in the hospital due to a few reasons, one of the biggest being that she has pnuemonia. She also thinks she broke a rib coughing and that's causing a lot of pain. She's having trouble breathing and that's pretty scary for her. She said Dr. Callery is doing a bunch of tests tonight that should tell them more about everything going on with her. If you want to call her, feel free, but be warned that her hospital room telephone is AWFUL and it's hard to understand her because of the static. The number is 858-613-4415. She's asked everyone to please send her your thoughts and prayers. Thanks!

Went to visit Jo in the hospital today and I'm soooo impressed with her energy and how she is feeling. She almost acts as if she didn't have surgery... until she coughs. Keep up the great attitude Jo! Her temperature is a little high and the bladder isn't cooperating so send up a couple extra prayers for her. When she is back online drop her a line.. you'll be in awe of her energy as well. I'm so glad I got to meet her!

Hi Everybody!! I'm Jo Mulvey's official Angel and I just spoke w/Jo on the phone. She had her surgery yesterday and is still in ICU because her urine volume output is low, but she is in very good spirits. She says this surgery hurts a lot less than when she had her gallbladder taken out. She was nervous about waking up w/the tube down her throat, but fortunately they had it out before she woke up. She MADE IT to the LOSING SIDE!!! YEAH!!<P>Jo asked me to tell everyone she's doing great, misses everyone and will be back soon to say "Hi!" Muah!!!
