Hi all, I am almost 13 weeks out from surgery. I am down 70 pounds. Feeling great. Still can't keep myself from snacking but I am trying to snack on stuff that isn't bad for me. Will keep posting.

Hi Jonita, You are doing a great job!!! Keep up the great work. I don't think snacking is bad as long as the choices are high protein and good for you. I find when I want to nibble I get Babybel cheese, Healthy choice lunch meat rolled up with no sugar pickle. Turkey or low fat beef jerky, hand full of nuts etc. Take care, Kathy

Hi all, I am almost 11 weeks out. Monday the 8th will be 11 weeks. I am down 60 pounds. I have lost lots of inches and 3 pant sizes since the start of this. I still feel great. Have not had any problems. The only problem that I am starting to have is I find myself snacking more and more. I still can't eat very much at a time but snack throughout the day! Does anyone have any hints on how to make myself stop the snacking. I am an x smoker and I think that is why I am doing it. Please help!!!! I feel like I might be slowing my weight loss by snacking all day!

I got into a pair of 26/28 pants and top for the first time in 5 years. That is so cool. My husband keeps telling me my butt is getting so small. Glad that it is coming from the butt. Tried of having a shelf. Will keep posting updates.

Hi all, Sorry it has been so long since I posted last. I am almost 6 weeks post op. I am down 42 pounds. It is so amazing seeing the weight just drop off of me. My fingers, arms, legs, MY BUTT!!!! Everything is just starting to look smaller. My chest has lost 4 inches already. Eating is fine. I am still following the steps my doctor gave me. This last week I started eating rice, cereal, and toasted bread. I have not dumped yet. Nor do I ever want to. I stick to what I am supposed to eat. I have chewed and spit a few times. Just for the taste of something. No sweets though. I am to scared to have that stuff even pass my lips. Everything is going great. No regrets!!!

Hi all, 2 weeks post-op today. I feel great. I have no pain at all. I am able to get around and do stuff again. I am ready to eat something. Anything! I am tried of sugar-free stuff and the protien shakes god they have to go. I am already down 34 pounds since I left the hospital. That is so cool. The infection is gone and I ended my 10 days worth of antibotics today. Thank God. I am not having any problems taking in enough fluids or milk. Don't like the chewable vitamins. They are really nasty. I have thought a couple of times why did I do this to myself. Then I get on the scale and I think man am I happy that I did this. That feeling out weighs the regret. Only when I see people eating things that I used to love is when it bothers me the most. Like sunday dinners with the family. They all sat there and ate T-Bone steaks in front of me while I sipped my protien shake. I never in my life wanted to lick my husbands fingers so bad. I will get past this I am sure but somedays are going to be harder than others. Otherwise doing great, Feeling great and so happy to be losing weight. I have 11 pounds to go and I will be under 300 pounds for the first time in 5 years. That to me makes this all worth it.
