Holy Cow!  

It's almost Christmas

We have a butt load of snow outside

I won a camera from OH!!!

Only have 16 days left until my surgery (2 weeks and 2 days)

Only have 3 days until my pre op appointment

Oh, did I say  IT'S ALMOST CHRISTMAS!! 

I am so thankful for all my OH friends! You are such a great support and better cheerleading team.

Okay, I've started writing this three times and it keeps getting deleated or disappearing off the screen? I did my second sleep study, thanks to two Tylenol PMs I made it through the night but it was not fun and was making me a little clausterphobic. I couldn't read or watch TV with it on so all I could do roll over and go to sleep. So very glad its over. All thats left now is my pre-op appointment then surgery day!!!  woot woot!

Well, second sleep study tomorrow night. Not happy about it at all and to top it off I'm getting sick and I'm congested. UGH! I'm not changing it though because Im not sure I could get in before my surgery date and nothing short of a heard of buffalo will keep me from that! Wish me luck. I plan on taking time to sleep on Saturday cause I'm sure I won't sleep tomorrow night.

Well I called the doctors office to see if I had to weigh in this month or would my pre-op appt count as my monthly weigh in? Chris emailed me back and said I didnt have to come until the 23rd which is my appt day but before I got her email I called and spoke with the secretary. She said if I was worried I should weigh in because if I gain my surgery could be postponed! UGH! I pratically ran to the office and I had gained 3 pounds from last month! I clarified the gaining part with Chris and she said I would have to go over the original weight from August for it to be a problem shewww! (wipe the forehead!) I know I'm not going back that far. She really reassured me and said this is just the reason I need the surgery and its not a problem. I just need to crack down. 

Let me first say.. no need to read this I mostly needed to hear myself think!

Ugh! I am so frustrated today in so many ways! One of my coworkers and good friend is taking some well deserved time off but everyone hates to do her job (including me) and because I am low man on the pole I get to do it!! I'm a nurse and she is a social worker and although I love getting in and helping people, doing so for 40+ patients (some REALLY needy) is nerve wracking when you don't do it everyday! I am always so afraid I'm going to forget something. My boss seems happy with my job but I like things to go smoothly and perfect and this is not a job that does either.  Then I come home to a 16yr old on her high horse who while eating my lovely dinner decides (after I asked what was wrong) that she doesn't want to live here because we "Yell" at her and she walks out the front door with no shoes and a short sleeved shirt in the freezing cold! Apparently her father had asked her four times to clean up her school things that she had dropped in the kitchen and she thought that was too much. This is from the child who just got a brand new cell phone and is getting a paid  trip to Cancun (with my money) with her friend and her parents (I don't get to go)!!! Talk about stress eating! I'd like to eat the whole bag of Oreos and the chips tonight ! UGH!! If anyone needs birthcontrol I will lend her to you for a week and then see if you still want children! She is the toughest of my three. I sure hope she grows out of it but somehow I don't think so.

The doctors office called and scared the daylights out of me today. She starts off saying there was a problem and they were going to have to make changes and that they had to change the schedule then after I've about had a heart attack (because this message was on my machine) she says oh we had to push your surgery back to 12:30 or 12:45. I cant remember exactly because i was near hyperventilating by then! Glad thats all it was but jeez. I was scheduled for 7:30 so I'm not sure what happened that they had to bump me but at least they didnt change my date.

 

Well, went for the monthly pre op weigh in and got a BIG surprise! ........  are you ready?  I did not gain!!! I had lost .4 of a pound (almost half of a pound) for the month!!  I thought for sure I had gained back a few because I am absolutely horrible with my food choices when I don't plan well.  So onward and upward, I'm going to try better for next month including getting through Thanksgiving without a gain. Only about 8 more weeks to surgery!

Almost two months until surgery date. January 5, 2010!! I just can't help feeling that I can't wait for cuteness!! Cute self, cute shoes, cute clothes!! Let's hear it for CUTE!

Wanted to see if something I changed on my page is working so this is just a test! Hope everyone is doing well!! 

Well, I was trying to add another ticker to my page but it didn't work.   :(   Only 79 more days till surgery! I believe it was two months, 2 weeks and 2 days?? Ha Ha. I think I like the sound of that better then 79 days!!


I am getting a little worried that with my seriously picky eating that I will have trouble trying to find acceptable foods to eat post op. I am still seriously concerned about the protein drinks but I've read everyones suggestions and I'm going to send for samples. It's just to expensive to experiment with the large bottles.
