Kristee~ my thoughts are w/ you...we are very similar...same size, nurses, single, no chilren yet...i am pulling for you and hope ur insurance will cover this...i am going through OSU as they are in my network but i am halfway through all of the endless evals and started this in 2/02 but haven't tackled the insurance area yet and am not looking forward to it...i just had my psych eval, had my physical and my nutrition appt so waiting for results of psych eval to go to OSU and then they will say yea or nay and if yea that's when we tackle insurance...i will keep u in my prayers and hope you get approved quickly...the worst is the waiting!!!! stay hopeful...Julie

Kristee, I am sorry for the struggle you're having with your insurance company. I was denied originally by my insurance company too and it was such a horrible feeling. I want to encourage you to keep up the fight, but I also want to remind you that no matter what, this is a support group and we're all here for you wether you are having surgery or not! I'm one for believing that all things happen for a reason and as Garth Brooks sings.. "sometimes I thank God for unanswered prayers". Hang in there, ok!?
