Hi Kristi, I want to wish you well with your WLS journey. You are so lucky that you were able to get in so fast with your surgeon. Usually the wait is months to well over a year to your first appointment with the Dr. I am also from CT and have only heard good things about your Surgeon, so I am sure you are in good hands. Do you have a date yet? I hope you have an uneventful sugery and an easy recovery.

Hi Kristi I am also a patient of Dr. Aranow. I love him!!! I had my surgery on 4/3 and as of 4/29 -- lost 22 lbs! You have made the right decision. He is a wonderful doctor and his staff is top notch. Two people I work with also had their surgery with him and adore him. I had never been in the hospital before so my stay a Middlesex was my first. The nurses were great and very caring. I was lucky when I had my ultra-sound becasue they found gallstones that I didn't know I had -- so he took that out as well:) The shrink was very sweet and the questions she asks makes you wonder what kind of people she normally deals with!! The nutritionists are very sweet too --- never had to lose an ounce, I'm sure, but nice anyway) Best of luck and if you have ANY questions at all -- just write. Good luck!!
