Ok....so here is my story! I have been a diabetic for 10yrs now. I have been wanting this surgery for as long as I can remember. I also have a thyroid problem as well as with depression on and off for several years now. The last 2 yrs I have been trying to get this surgery to help me with my diabetic's. So I am in the process of the paper work. Now they are saying that my BMI is not enough. Even though I am over weight. I weigh 240 lbs! Now there is a question about my sleeping. So now I am going in for the study. It makes me so angry when people around me are getting approved for the surgery and they dont even have any medical problems! Don't get me wrong, I know being over weight sucks, but having diabetic and other issues sucks even more! I just want to feel better and have a future too!!! I need help in understanding how they decide who is approved and who is dont get approved.
What do I need to do!!!
