No more weight loss over the weekend.  I drank some alcohol I suppose that didn't help and the cheating.  I'm on pureed foods but am finding I can tolerate just about anything.  The doc put me on some gall bladder medicine and they want to start pumping up the band in 5 weeks.    Again down 19lbs so far goal is 81 more.

Well it's been a week and a day since surgery.  Boy I don't know about the surgery it does suck.  But then again look at the objestive.  the guy next to me was Curt and he had the RNY and he is 61yrs old and had his surgery the day before me and was still in when I left.  His kidneys kept shutting down and he was having lots of issues.  Poor guy wasn't any heavier than me I sure think he should have had the Lapband.  I am back to work taking it easy not lifting and I'm down 19lbs so far.  Started 297 now 288lbs.  Food really tastes good now but I get full quick and don't desire it like I did.  So far so good.

New date 5/9/07 for the surgery.  I start taking laxatives today and antibiotics tomorrow.  No more food only clear liquids.

4/25/07 I'm scheduled for a lap band on 5/8/07 with Dr I.  I'm sort of marginal weighing 297 at 6'1" but with my sleep apnea I qualify and Dr I recommended the lap band.  He seems really great and I look forward to the surgery.  I would like to speak with or hear from other lap band people and find a support group close to Woodbury,MN.
