Laura...I just read through your profile again today. Thank you for sharing with everyone. I have not had anywhere near the problems you experienced, but I can understand, especially after one year now, that you're not completely able to say you are glad you had this surgery. I am so thankful that God has healed me and allowed the Drs. to take care of me as they have. I am truly blessed to have a friend like you - thank you for always keeping me in your prayers. I am so sad to hear of your ruptured hernia...oh no --not when all else was doing okay---oh well at least you are out of the surgery and it's complications and have lost all that weight. Hang in there and I will say a little prayer for you and Barry. Love to the girls.

Thank you to everyone who has e-mailed, called, and sent cards to me. The death of my father has just been an ordeal I never thought I would have to go through. Thank you for all of your support. My husband had angioplasty this past week (he had a heartattack in '99 with stent placement) and they are giving him a new medication, so hopefully with time and the miracle of new medicines he will be back to himself. As for me, I have lost a total of 133 pounds and 85 inches and it looks like all the complications are all behind me now! Thanks to each and everyone of you who has walked and held my hand with me the past 7 months. It's been a long journey, but one well worth it. I've been behind on all the clothing, but I promise I am getting on this week!! I love you all Love, Laura
