Hello all, Heather here. I wanted to let everyone know that Laura had a few complications yesterday (Friday). She started complaining of shortness of breath and pain in her left shoulder following her first walk post surgery. After several test (Bladder Scan, Ultrasound, Chest XR), Dr Nye decided to take her back into surgery to find the causes of the pain. The source of pain turned out to be a leak. Once he made the repair, Laura started "enjoying" normal post op recovery pains. She is now resting more comfortably back in her room. Please continue to pray for her and send her your best wishes. I will be printing the card on Monday and taking it to her.

Hello all, this is Heather, Laura's angel. I wanted to let everyone know that Laura had her surgery today and everything went well. They had made the decision prior to surgery to remove her gallblatter as well. She is resting comfortably tonight in her room at Baptist Hospital. Please take a minute to offer your support and best wishes for a quick recovery. I will go see her tomorrow and report back on her progress.
