Lisa, congratulations and best wishes for an unevently surgery and a smooth recovery. You are about to begin an awesome journey to good health. I can honestly say that food is no longer important to me even at 2 weeks post-op. I'm just not hungry. Be sure to drink lots of fluids, it isn't always easy but very, very important. See you on the losing side ~~ Dana

Hi, Lisa...I'm Joan and I just had my one year anniversary. Believe me, I can feel your pain. I wish for you only good health success and happiness. I can tell you that you will not regret this decision. By reading your posts, it seems you are more than ready to face the challanges of the surgery. March 10th is the first day of your new life. Just think...a year from now, you're going to be like the rest of us...clothes horses with more energy than you could ever imagine. The world will change for the better. My thoughts and prayers are with you...

I pray that your surgery is complication free and your recovery is, as well. You'll have some tough times ahead as you adjust to your new lifestyle and change your eating habits but it's SO worth it so hang in there !!! Please remember that everyone on the Texas message board will always be there for you for support and guidance and so will your sweet angel, Shannon. God bless ya, girl !
