Well tomorrow is the Fourth of July and I hope I will hear an answer from BCBS this week. I had been told that they cover WLS last year when I was going to go thru Mt. Carmel, but since I switched over to Barix..they told them they do not cover WLS. I called and talked to a gal that denied that and said to send a "pre-determination" letter or something to that effect to BCBS and they would review it. That was over two weeks ago. I must say that Jeff Kauderer, who is the director at Barix, is absolutely wonderful and a key player in helping me out. I hope to have an update soon!
